Tragic Incident: Two High Court Lawyers Drown After Car Accident in Lucknow
In a heartbreaking turn of events, two prominent lawyers met their untimely demise after their vehicle plunged into a pond in Lucknow. The victims, identified as Kuldeep Kumar Awasthi, 40, and Shashank Singh, 37, were respected advocates known for their roles as standing counsel and brief holder in high court cases.
The tragic accident occurred on Friday night when their car, registered as UP 32 NE 1110, lost control and ended up submerged in a pond located in the Chinhat police station area.
Early Saturday morning, local residents raised the alarm, prompting a swift response from police and firefighters who arrived to conduct search and rescue operations. Emergency responders successfully retrieved the vehicle from the water, along with the bodies of the two lawyers.
Authorities have since initiated an investigation into the circumstances leading to this devastating incident, and the bodies have been sent for post-mortem examination.
