Another month has begun, signaling the departure of several games from Game Pass in just two weeks. While Microsoft has yet to officially announce these changes, the upcoming exits can be found on the service’s “Leaving Soon” page, which reveals that numerous titles will be leaving on March 16.
Among the exiting games are both Yakuza 5 Remastered and Yakuza 6: The Song of Life, following the recent removal of Yakuza 3 and 4 remasters. Yakuza 5 boasts the largest cast within the real-time action entries of the series, whereas Yakuza 6 marks the return of Kazuma Kiryu as the only playable protagonist.
In other news, the prequel DLC for Lies of P has been announced to launch this summer, encouraging players to explore the souls-like game before making a DLC purchase. Additionally, Grasshopper Manufacture’s No More Heroes 3 stands out as a humorous Japanese action-RPG with an outstanding soundtrack, making it a worthwhile experience. Another notable title, Evil West, draws inspiration from acclaimed games like God of War and Devil May Cry.
SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom – Rehydrated, a remake of the classic 2003 game, includes multiplayer options and previously cut content from its original release.
The action-adventure platformer Solar Ash, set in the same universe as Hyper Light Drifter, is also making waves. Although its sequel, Hyper Light Breaker, is currently in early access and receiving mixed reviews, Solar Ash remains a must-try for fans of the genre.
Lastly, MLB The Show 24 is set to leave Game Pass, with confirmation that MLB The Show 25 will not be available on subscription services in 2025.
