Harmony Tividad, renowned for her role as co-founder of Girlpool, is set to release her highly anticipated solo album titled Gossip on October 11. This album marks a significant milestone for the artist, who is launching it through her own label, Harmony’s Fantasy Corp. The tracklist includes popular singles such as “Thot Daughter,” “Miss America,” and “Coke and Mentos,” along with an exciting new release, “No Romeo,” which will be accompanied by a self-directed music video.
In crafting Gossip, Harmony collaborated with notable producers including Bamster, Wyatt Bernard, Ryan Raines, and Ruben Radlauer from Model/Actriz. The artist describes Gossip as a deep exploration of virtue’s many facets. "I aimed to play with the concept of goodness," she expressed. "In observing the diversity of human experiences, it’s easy to form judgments. Some characters I portray I know intimately, while others are mere reflections from afar. Ultimately, I wanted to investigate shame and the parts of myself that I regard as flaws, shining a light on them with compassion. After wrestling with moral scrupulosity throughout my life, it’s become clear to me that everyone has their own unique definition of goodness."
Following the disbandment of Girlpool in the summer of 2022, shortly after releasing their final album Forgiveness, Harmony took her first steps into solo artistry with her EP Dystopia Girl. Fans can expect an evolution of her sound and storytelling in the upcoming album Gossip, which stands poised to resonate with a wide audience.
