The Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE) under the Ministry of Power is launching a national initiative aimed at fostering sustainable practices to combat climate change and protect our environment.
In a recent meeting during National Energy Conservation Week, BEE media adviser A. Chandra Sekhar Reddy engaged in discussions with Special Chief Secretary (Energy) K. Vijayanand regarding essential communication strategies for promoting energy conservation.
Vijayanand emphasized the government’s commitment to advancing energy efficiency measures, generating renewable energy, and reducing greenhouse gas emissions across the state.
He reaffirmed that the government is dedicated to combating the impacts of climate change with a strong focus on the Mission LiFE initiative. Additionally, efforts are underway to secure substantial investments in energy efficiency programs.
During the meeting, a new poster highlighting the importance of addressing climate change for environmental balance was unveiled. The CEO of A.P. State Energy Conservation Mission, B.A.V.P. Kumar Reddy, was also in attendance.
