ECNETNews reports that Google Cloud has officially assumed the role of a validator for Injective, an interoperable layer-1 blockchain, enhancing the network’s security and decentralization.
This strategic move signifies Google Cloud’s commitment to bolstering the Injective (INJ) ecosystem, ensuring robust support as it evolves.
In addition to its validation role, Google Cloud is integrating its Web3 infrastructure with Injective’s network. Developers can now leverage Injective’s blockchain data through Google Cloud’s BigQuery public datasets, providing real-time insights vital for DeFi applications and institutional trading strategies.
Furthermore, Injective’s developer suite is now hosted on Google Cloud, offering essential tools such as testnet faucets and indexed data to facilitate dapp development.
In a collaborative effort, Injective and Google Cloud are co-hosting an AI Agent Hackathon, in partnership with ElizaOS and DoraHacks, aimed at encouraging developers to create innovative AI-powered financial applications utilizing Injective’s iAgent framework.
This is not the first venture for Google Cloud into the blockchain space; the company has previously joined networks such as Celo, Solana, and Polygon as a validator. Its Web3 services are pivotal in merging traditional enterprise infrastructure with blockchain technology, promoting widespread adoption within decentralized ecosystems.
