George Harrison’s iconic album, Living in the Material World, is set to be celebrated with a special 50th anniversary reissue. This noteworthy edition will feature an impressive collection of 12 unreleased recordings, including the track “Give Me Love (Give Me Peace on Earth) (Take 18).” Another significant addition is a recording of “Sunshine Life for Me (Sail Away Raymond),” which showcases contributions from legendary musicians. This exclusive tune will be available on a separate 7" single as part of the super deluxe edition.
Scheduled for release on November 15, the reissue has been newly mixed by Paul Hicks, overseen by Dhani and Olivia Harrison. In addition to the music, fans can look forward to a 60-page hardcover book filled with captivating photos, handwritten lyrics, studio notes, and more. The tracklist will also include various alternate takes and acoustic versions for fans to explore.
