Mongolia’s General Entrance Exam (GEE) officially kicks off today, July 4, 2024. Registration for the GEE for the 2023-2024 academic year began on April 13 and closed on April 26, with over 36,000 students registered to participate.
The exams will be conducted at 46 locations nationwide, ensuring accessibility for all candidates.
Prior to the GEE, students completed the Mongolian language test, with approximately 36,000 examinees taking part. Unfortunately, around 5,300 examinees fell short of the required threshold score. To address this, a re-examination has been scheduled for August 17.
Among the subjects most frequently selected by examinees are mathematics, English, and social studies. The entrance exam commenced today with the history subject, and candidates are allowed to choose at least two subjects from a total of ten available options.
