Fortnitemares 2024 Unveils Exciting New Weapons and Loot
The annual Fortnite Halloween event, Fortnitemares, is back with thrilling updates to its weapon arsenal and loot offerings. This year’s festivities introduce several intense new items that players can look forward to discovering. Here’s the complete list of the Fortnitemares loot available during the event:
- Wood Stake Shotgun
- Pumpkin Launcher
- Witch Broom
- Boom Billy
- Chainsaw
Long-time Fortnitemares players will recognize the first three items, but the last two are brand new additions to the game. The Boom Billy features a unique mechanic where it sends a puppet character riding a tricycle toward enemies before resulting in a massive explosion. Players are advised to steer clear if they hear the puppet’s spine-chilling laugh.
Additionally, the new chainsaw offers both offensive and movement options. Players can charge at opponents or rev the chainsaw into the ground to propel themselves forward, potentially joining the ranks of popular traversal tools like the Shockwave Hammer and Kinetic Blade.
In addition to the exciting loot, a new on-island event will take place during Fortnitemares. Players can interact with special TVs featuring the puppet character across various island locations, which will assign them a target to eliminate among other players participating in the challenge.
Both players will don bear masks reminiscent of iconic horror themes, and failure to eliminate the target before time runs out will lead to a dramatic explosion for both parties. Victors will receive rewards including the Boom Billy and Witch Broom, along with other randomized loot.
