ECNETNews, JEONJU, KOREA, Mon. Oct. 14, 2024: The Grand Finale of the “Shincheonji Word Seminar” took place in Jeonju, Korea, attracting over 16,000 participants. This event concluded a 20-day exploration of the Book of Revelation, which began in late September and wrapped up on October 13th in Jeonju, North Jeolla Province.
The Shincheonji Church of Jesus hosted the “Shincheonji Jeonju Word Seminar” on October 13th, with a capacity crowd that included 250 pastors. Due to safety and space considerations, many eager attendees could not be accommodated, leading to an engaging online presence with over 117,000 viewers tuning in from home.
As early as four hours before the event, crowds began to gather outside the Shincheonji Jeonju Church, resulting in a full house both indoors and in the outdoor areas. To welcome guests, church members lined a 1-kilometer route leading to the venue, providing entertainment through performances by a military band and a traditional Korean music group.
Significantly, the participation of 250 pastors from diverse denominations underscored the event’s importance. Chairman Lee started his lecture by inviting pastors to challenge any inaccuracies in his teachings.
During the lecture, Chairman Lee discussed the contemporary fulfillment of the Book of Revelation, paralleling it with Jesus’ fulfillment of Old Testament prophecies. He urged attendees to assess their alignment with biblical teachings and emphasized the importance of maintaining the integrity of Revelation, encouraging a thorough evaluation of Shincheonji’s doctrines.
Following the lecture, two pastors expressed their gratitude through a flower presentation, acknowledging Chairman Lee’s insights that deepened their understanding of the Book of Revelation. One pastor noted, “Chairman Lee’s emphasis on the sanctity of the Book of Revelation as a promise from Jesus resonated deeply. We should embrace these teachings with open hearts.”
Another attendee, a missionary, reflected, “After experiencing the Ulsan Word Seminar in January, I have found Chairman Lee’s teachings to be enlightening and transformative for my mission work.” Shincheonji’s community actively engaged the public, generating enthusiasm and interest during the street celebration.
Earlier in the month, promotional activities included a walking event by the Thomas tribe at local markets and historic sites, aimed at highlighting the fulfilled messages within the Book of Revelation.
A representative from Shincheonji expressed appreciation for all who supported the seminar, stating, “We are committed to continuing our mission of faith according to biblical principles and are focused on sharing the fulfilled teachings of the Book of Revelation in our time.”
