A new month ushers in exciting events for Pokémon Go players. As February kicks off, the mobile game prepares to wrap up its Dual Destiny season with a lineup of activities including a Hoopa Unbound Raid Day and the Road to Unova event, leading up to the Pokémon Go Tour: Unova celebration next month.
This February, players can also anticipate new Spotlight Hours and raid bosses. The details of the main events for Pokémon Go in February are outlined below.
February Raid Schedule
Pokémon Go is set to refresh its raid rotation this month. Legendary Pokémon will be returning to five-star raids, featuring the Hisuian Enamorus alongside iconic cover Pokémon from Pokémon X and Y, Xerneas and Yveltal. Mega Raids will showcase Mega Tyranitar and Mega Garchomp, while Shadow Regirock will make appearances in special Shadow Raids each weekend.

February’s Community Day is scheduled for February 9, featuring both Shelmet and Karrablast. From 2-5 PM local time, these Pokémon will appear more frequently, with increased chances of shiny encounters. Players can also enjoy bonuses such as extended Lure Modules or Incense duration, triple XP, and reduced Stardust costs for trades.
Exclusive moves will be available for evolution during this period, allowing Shelmet to learn the Charged Attack Energy Ball and Karrablast to learn Razor Shell.
Beloved Buddies Event
Following this, the Beloved Buddies event will run from February 11-15, promising additional details closer to the date.
Hoopa Unbound Raid Day
Marking the calendar for February 15, the Hoopa Unbound Raid Day will provide players another chance to capture this legendary Pokémon. From 2-5 PM local time, Hoopa Unbound will appear frequently in five-star raids, with added benefits including extra free Raid Passes and an increased Remote Raid Pass limit.
Additionally, a paid event ticket will be available for purchase, offering bonuses like enhanced XP and Stardust during Raid Battles.
Scattered to the Winds Event

Road to Unova Event
To build excitement for the upcoming global Unova Tour, Pokémon Go will host the Road to Unova event from February 24-March 1. Throughout this period, a variety of Unova-region Pokémon will be more commonplace in the wild, and players can expect special raids and event tasks, along with bonuses for egg hatching and Remote Raids.
