An engineering student in Paritala village, Kanchikacherla Mandal, NTR District, Andhra Pradesh, has reported multiple incidents of sexual assault involving three individuals. The victim, currently a second-year student at a local engineering college, alleged that she was raped by Sheikh Hussain, also known as “Piss,” and Sheikh Gali Shahid, referred to as “Piddu.”
According to her statement, Hussain, who had been in a relationship with her under the guise of love, took her to his room and eventually left, leaving her vulnerable to an alleged assault by Piddu.
In response to the victim’s complaint at the local police station, authorities have registered a case and apprehended three suspects: Piddu, Hussain, and Chintal Prabhu Das, who is accused of facilitating the assaults.
Assistant Commissioner of Police ABG Tilak has assured the public that a comprehensive investigation is underway and that decisive action will be taken against those involved. This disturbing case highlights the urgent need for community awareness and action against sexual violence.
