The Lagos State Commissioner of Police has officially declared the ongoing #EndBadGovernanceinNigeria protest as banned. This announcement follows an address from President Bola Tinubu to the protesting crowd, aimed at addressing their grievances.
In a statement to reporters, the Commissioner emphasized that due to the President’s intervention, any further gatherings in the state will be deemed unlawful.
“The protest has concluded because the President has made his remarks. The protesters are now awaiting his response to their demands,” he stated.
He further advised that any subsequent gatherings will be regarded as illegal, asserting that law enforcement will take necessary action against violators.
