Iceage frontman Elias Rønnenfelt is set to release his debut solo album, titled Heavy Glory, on October 25. This highly anticipated album features the previously released single “Like Lovers Do” and introduces a new track, “No One Else.”
Co-produced by Rønnenfelt and collaborator Nis Bysted, Heavy Glory showcases Rønnenfelt’s musical evolution, concluding with two intriguing covers: Spaceman 3’s “Sound of Confusion” and Townes Van Zandt’s “No Place to Fall.”
Rønnenfelt is also known for his work with Marching Church, which began as a solo project and evolved into a full band, with notable albums like This World Is Not Enough and Telling It Like It Is. His last work with Iceage, Seek Shelter, was released in 2021.
