Drake has released an impressive 100 gigabytes of data, which includes three brand-new tracks and a wealth of behind-the-scenes footage. This collection can be accessed on a dedicated site. The new songs feature “It’s Up,” featuring Young Thug and 21 Savage, “Blue Green Red,” and the Gordo-produced “Housekeeping Knows” featuring Latto. Fans can also download exclusive clips from music videos, tour rehearsals, and studio sessions.
This release marks Drake’s first new music since his involvement in a highly publicized feud with Kendrick Lamar, which started with Lamar’s track “Like That” in March. The ongoing back-and-forth saw several rappers joining the fray, resulting in a flurry of responses. This spring, tracks were dropped in quick succession: Lamar responded with “Euphoria” and “6:16 in LA,” while Drake countered with “Family Matters.” Lamar’s "Meet the Grahams" and the notable “Not Like Us” followed suit, with the latter landing at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 after Drake’s release of “The Heart Part 6.”
With so much happening during this diss track saga, it’s easy to overlook that Drake’s last album, For All the Dogs, was released less than a year ago.
