Monterrey, Nuevo León – A significant police operation unfolded in Escobedo, Nuevo León, culminating in the arrest of two suspects and the rescue of a kidnapped individual following a dramatic chase and gunfire.
The incident occurred on Thursday morning when law enforcement officers in the Laderas de San Miguel neighborhood spotted a suspicious vehicle. Upon attempting to stop the vehicle, the suspects fled and opened fire on the police.
The officers returned fire, initiating a high-speed pursuit that concluded when the suspects crashed into a cargo truck, immobilizing their escape.
At the scene, two men were detained, while two others managed to flee. Inside the vehicle, authorities discovered a person believed to have been kidnapped and held against their will.
