ECNETNews has announced the upcoming release of the expanded Collector’s Edition of Daniel Johnston’s iconic first studio album, 1991’s Artistic Vice. This new edition will include a second LP with a treasure trove of outtakes, rehearsals, and previously unreleased tracks from the beloved DIY folk legend and his Eye Band. Fans can listen to one of the newly featured songs, “All Good Children Got to Die,” which is available now.
The Artistic Vice Collector’s Edition is set to be released on October 18. The album and additional tracks have been expertly remastered by Johnston’s long-time friend and collaborator Mark Kramer.
Daniel Johnston passed away in 2019 at the age of 58, leaving behind a legacy as a pioneer of the bedroom pop genre.
