The Mysuru District Congress Committee plans to stage a demonstration at the local BJP office on Friday in response to Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s comments regarding B.R. Ambedkar.
District unit president Dr. Vijaykumar announced that this protest is part of a broader initiative aimed at calling for the “ousting of the BJP.” He remarked, “Similar to the Quit India movement initiated in 1942 against British rule, the Congress will now launch the ‘BJP Quit India’ campaign.”
This event underscores the escalating tensions between the Congress Party and the ruling BJP, highlighting the ongoing political discourse in the region.
