Deadpool and Wolverine fans have plenty to be excited about, especially with the recent revelations regarding various character variants. Among the notable ideas was a fusion character combining elements of both Deadpool and Wolverine, suggested by Marvel concept artist David Masson.
Masson’s artwork highlighted a character that fans might call Wolverpool or Deadverine, although our favorite choice would be Poolverine, as it showcases more of Deadpool’s signature style. This intriguing combination raises the question: does the character represent a variant of Deadpool or Wolverine beneath the mask?
Additionally, Masson introduced Punkpool, a previously unused design that channels a unique vibe reminiscent of Spider-Punk. With its striking mohawk made of spikes, this version of Deadpool exemplifies the character’s penchant for the outrageous, although its distinctiveness from other versions may be minimal.
Other teased variants from Masson include Grandma Deadpool and Luchador Deadpool, further demonstrating the range of creativity within the Deadpool universe.
Given the massive popularity of the film, the journey of Ryan Reynolds’ Deadpool and its variants is far from over. Fans can currently catch Deadpool & Wolverine in theaters.
