Minneapolis-raised composer and electroacoustic saxophonist Cole Pulice, now residing in Oakland, California, has unveiled their highly anticipated solo album, titled Land’s End Eternal. The album, set to release on May 9, marks Pulice’s first solo project in three years and serves as the follow-up to 2022’s Scry. The lead single, “After the Rain,” has been released and is a captivating nine-minute composition featuring the voice of Maria BC.
In Land’s End Eternal, Pulice introduces electric guitar into their repertoire for the first time. “I’ve always loved the electric guitar but never owned one, so it quickly became an important part of my daily music routine and explorations, and ultimately a compositional centerpiece for the work on Land’s End Eternal,” they noted.
This new album follows two collaborative projects with ambient musician Lynn Avery: Phantasy & Reality, set for release in 2024, and To Live & Die in Space & Time, released in 2022.
