Warzone Successfully Restores Classic Verdansk Map After Server Downtime
The highly-anticipated Warzone server downtime has concluded, and players can now jump back into action on the beloved Verdansk map. This iconic battleground made its first return since being removed in December 2021, officially going live on April 3.
As excitement builds, the game is once again welcoming fans to a familiar setting, complete with returning features, original mechanics, and popular points of interest (POIs). The announcement stirred anticipation among players, evidenced by a resurfaced social media buzz around the #VerdanskReturns hashtag.
Earlier on April 2, Warzone experienced a scheduled server maintenance that began at 9 AM PT (12 PM ET) and lasted for 24 hours. A "Countdown to Verdansk launch" timer displayed in the game menu heightened the anticipation leading up to the new map’s launch.
During the downtime, players were given access to the latest Black Ops 6 Season 3 update, which includes fresh multiplayer and Zombies content.
