Clairo has unveiled a captivating music video for her new single “Terrapin,” featured on her highly anticipated 2024 album Charm. The video, directed by Ayo Edebiri, showcases a whimsical retro-kitsch aesthetic and features a besuited “Weird Al” Yankovic portraying Clairo, with the artist herself making an appearance in the background.
The album Charm has already made waves, with previous singles “Juno” and “Sexy to Someone” also accompanied by their own music videos last year. Clairo recently received a nomination for Best Alternative Music Album at the upcoming 2025 Grammy Awards, following a competitive year but ultimately finishing behind St. Vincent. Edebiri, known for her multifaceted talents, also appears in the visual for Tyler, the Creator’s single “Noid” from the album Chromakopia.
Additionally, Charm has garnered critical acclaim, landing at #21 on the list of “The 50 Best Albums of 2024.”
