Tragic Loss in Cinematography: Krishna K.R. Passes Away at 30 in Srinagar
Krishna K.R., a talented cinematographer and a vital member of the Women in Cinema Collective (WCC), passed away on Monday in Srinagar. She had been hospitalized after developing a chest infection while on location in Arunachal Pradesh and Kashmir, with her condition deteriorating before her untimely death.
Hailing from Perumbavoor in Ernakulam district, Krishna was working closely as an associate to renowned cinematographer Sanu John Varghese for the third installment of the Telugu film ‘HIT,’ currently being filmed in Kashmir.
The WCC paid tribute to Krishna, highlighting her remarkable skills, passion, and dedication to cinematography. Her impactful contributions to the collective and the broader film community will be cherished and remembered.
