Cindy Lee, the project of former Women frontperson Patrick Flegel, is set to release the highly anticipated vinyl edition of their acclaimed album Diamond Jubilee on February 21. This release will be available through the Superior Viaduct sub-label W.25th, along with CD copies. In an exciting move, the artist has also made Diamond Jubilee available for streaming.
Previously, fans could only listen to Diamond Jubilee on YouTube or through a digital download from Lee’s Geocities page, a method also used for earlier albums. Many of Lee’s works, including 2020’s What’s Tonight to Eternity and 2018’s Model Express, later found their way to streaming platforms. However, some albums, like Cat O’ Nine Tails, Act of Tenderness, and Tatlashea, remain exclusive to that Geocities page.
Since the release of Diamond Jubilee in April, Lee has collaborated with Panda Bear on the single “Defense,” featured on the upcoming solo album, Sinister Grift, by the Animal Collective member. This collaboration further showcases Lee’s evolving musical journey and continues to build anticipation among fans.
