Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has urged all Telugu Desam Party (TDP) leaders, including Ministers, MPs, MLAs, and party activists, to provide comprehensive support to communities affected by recent flooding.
Speaking during a teleconference on Sunday, September 1, 2024, Mr. Naidu emphasized that the State experienced unprecedented rainfall, with certain regions recording historical downpours.
“Flood relief operations are being conducted vigorously, but any additional assistance would be immensely beneficial. Proactive efforts by concerned departments have significantly reduced the potential for casualties,” he stated.
“The TDP has consistently stood by those in distress, and it is crucial for our leaders and activists to respond strongly as the State continues to deal with the aftermath of these torrential rains,” he added.
Mr. Naidu highlighted the party’s commitment in the past during similar disasters and called upon TDP leaders to connect with the communities in need of support.
