Njombe. The High Court of Iringa has acquitted three prominent members of the Chadema party, who faced charges related to the murder of a member of the ruling party, CCM.
The acquitted individuals, George Sanga, Gudluck Mfuse, and Octatus Mkwela, had been accused of killing Emmanuel Mlelwa, the former Chairman of the Youth Wing of CCM (UVCCM) at universities in the Iringa region.
In case number 52 of 2024, the accused were alleged to have committed the crime in 2020.
