Björk Unveils Upcoming Release of Cornucopia: The Book
Björk has revealed her latest project, Cornucopia: The Book, a comprehensive 480-page exploration of her acclaimed performance series, which shares the same title. The book is set to feature 313 vibrant images, showcasing a mix of concert visuals and specially designed imagery, offering fans a deep dive into the creative journey behind the performances. The publication is scheduled for release on November 15.
Originating in 2019 with a series of shows in New York, Björk’s Cornucopia concert series endured a hiatus due to the pandemic but made a triumphant return in 2022 and 2023. The performances incorporated groundbreaking material from her latest album, Fossora. In a statement, Björk elaborated on the thematic elements of the series, stating, “Throughout this tale, there is a subplot woven in: a second story of an avatar—a modern marionette who alchemically mutates, from puppet to puppet, from the injury of a heart wound to a fully healed state. I hope you enjoy it.”
