When Dragon Age: The Veilguard launches next month, players can elevate their characters to an impressive level 50, nearly doubling the cap seen in prior installments of the franchise. The renowned developer, BioWare, is primed to unveil the various methods gamers can use to enhance their characters. Game director Corinne Busche expressed excitement about the potential for players to devise unexpected builds that could disrupt the game’s leveling system.
"We want players to discover emergent builds," said Busche. "We want them to feel like they can outsmart us. Although we prefer not to see the game completely obliterated, it would be incredibly satisfying to witness someone out-maneuver our best designs."
Busche elaborated that The Veilguard will adjust its difficulty to align with player levels. Even at level 50, players will encounter formidable challenges, but innovative players might find ways to enhance their strength significantly, potentially overpowering enemies.
Any player-created builds that skew the balance of gameplay could face adjustments in future patches for The Veilguard, though players can still relish their powerful characters during their initial gameplay.
Dragon Age: The Veilguard is set to release on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC on October 31, promising an exhilarating RPG experience for fans.
