Music legend Billy Joel has officially canceled his upcoming concert schedule following a diagnosis of normal pressure hydrocephalus (NPH), a brain disorder that has been aggravated by his recent performances. The musician’s condition has affected his hearing, vision, and balance, leading his medical team to recommend a pause in performances for recovery. Joel’s team thanked fans for their understanding during this challenging time and emphasized his commitment to prioritizing his health.
Two shows in February were the last performances before the decision was made to cancel the remaining tour dates. Tickets for all canceled shows will be automatically refunded.
“I’m sincerely sorry to disappoint our audience, and thank you for understanding,” stated Joel.
