After its world premiere at Cinequest, the film will also screen at the upcoming Miami International Film Festival on April 5, 2025.
The film follows an 18-year-old pianist named Vera, who is deeply passionate about Latin Jazz. After landing a freelance job at a music studio, Vera seizes the chance to showcase her talent to Hector, the studio owner. While he recognizes her skill, he is also an unscrupulous producer who seeks to exploit her dreams for personal gain, eventually stealing her original compositions.
Vera must confront her insecurities and doubts as she navigates the competitive music landscape. Through perseverance, resilience, and the unwavering support of her friends, she embarks on a final journey of self-discovery, ultimately finding her voice and securing her future within the vibrant world of Latin Jazz.
