In a significant breakthrough in the murder case of NCP leader Baba Siddique, law enforcement officials have apprehended a Haryana native regarded as a crucial link between one of the shooters and the masterminds behind the heinous act. The arrest was confirmed on Wednesday, October 24, 2024.
With this latest capture, the total number of suspects in police custody has risen to 11. Authorities have identified Amit Hisamsing Kumar as a key player in the alleged conspiracy and its execution. He is believed to connect Gurmail Singh, another shooter already detained, with Mohammed Zeeshan Akhtar, the suspected mastermind who remains at large. Akhtar is perceived to serve as the central figure linking the shooters to the conspirators in this high-profile case, according to police sources.
