Archery events commenced recently, with two athletes representing Mongolia: D. Selengee and B. Oyun-Erdene. In the preliminary rounds, D. Selengee excelled, scoring 622 points and securing 3rd place, while B. Oyun-Erdene garnered 524 points, finishing in 18th place. In the semi-finals, D. Selengee competed against a formidable Chinese athlete but was narrowly defeated by a score of 4-6. This result enabled her to vie for the bronze medal, but she faced an Italian opponent in that match and ultimately lost 6-2.
D. Selengee, who previously competed in the Tokyo Paralympics and clinched a bronze medal at the World Championships, finished in 4th place at this event.
