Conversations with Laboratory Survivors Unfold
In a remarkable encounter, explorers have discovered a group of Dreamscourge-affected individuals locked in a cage. Although direct communication with these individuals is not possible, whispered conversations from the adjacent room reveal the harrowing experiences of others. Access to this room, previously blocked, can be gained by climbing the rocks next to the cage.
Upon entering the room, survivors of a recent laboratory incident share their story. They recount how some colleagues began exhibiting signs of the Dreamscourge, ultimately leading to a catastrophic fire in the lab. In the chaos, those unaffected fled to the Scaedclef Grotto, leaving behind individuals who subsequently fell victim to the plague. The survivors are now facing an agonizing decision: whether to eliminate the afflicted or find a way to coexist with them amidst their uncertainty.
