As Nasarawa State gears up for local government elections on November 2, chairmanship aspirant Jonathan Embugu of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has made a compelling pledge to deliver democratic dividends to the residents of Nasarawa Eggon Local Government Area if elected.

The Nasarawa State Independent Electoral Commission (NASIEC) has confirmed that the elections across the 13 Local Government Areas will take place as scheduled. NASIEC Chairman Ayuba Wandai announced that the current officials’ tenure will conclude on October 7, 2024, following their election three years ago.
Wandai has urged all residents to actively engage in the election process, reaffirming the commission’s commitment to conducting free, fair, and credible elections throughout the state.
