Excitement is building as Canadian artists PartyNextDoor and Drake prepare to release their highly anticipated collaborative album, $ome $exy $ongs 4 U, set to launch on Valentine’s Day, February 14. A teaser video for the project has been released, giving fans a glimpse of what to expect.
The partnership between Drake and PartyNextDoor dates back to 2013 with the hit track “Over Here.” Since then, they’ve collaborated on numerous tracks, including “Own It,” “Recognize,” “Preach,” and “Loyal,” solidifying their reputation as a formidable duo in the music industry.
Updates on Drake reveal that he recently dropped his latest solo album, For All the Dogs, in October 2023. The upcoming $ome $exy $ongs 4 U marks his third major collaborative project, following the successful What a Time to Be Alive with Future and Her Loss with 21 Savage. Fans can also look forward to his upcoming tour in Australia and New Zealand later this month.
Meanwhile, PartyNextDoor made a strong comeback last year with his project PartyNextDoor 4 (P4), his first release since the 2020 album Partymobile. This new album symbolizes his return to form and marks the first self-titled release since PartyNextDoor 3 (P3) in 2016.
Although neither artist attended the 2025 Grammy Awards, their influence lingered as Kendrick Lamar’s diss track “Not Like Us,” which references the pair, garnered five awards. In light of the situation, Drake is pursuing legal action against Universal Music Group for defamation related to the track.
