Brooklyn rapper and producer Niontay is set to release his highly anticipated album, Fada, on April 25. The album features the lead single “Mumbleman,” which is available now, accompanied by a unique CCTV-style music video.
In a recent statement, Niontay shared the album’s personal significance, stating, “The initial name for the tape was ‘2009,’ marking the year my Ole boy passed, which transformed my life. I believe this album will similarly impact others in a positive light. While we face the painful reality of loss, we must learn to celebrate and honor our loved ones with love. Through this music, I aim to have fun while carrying my Ole boy’s name and legacy forward.”
Niontay took the reins on most of the production for Fada, with contributions from Tony Seltzer, DJ Blackpower, and Surf Gang’s Harrison. The album also includes features from artists like Mavi, Sideshow, El Cousteau, and British rapper Jadasea.
Niontay debuted with Dontay’s Inferno in 2023, gaining recognition for his track “Thank Allah,” which was included in notable music lists. His journey continues to resonate with fans and critics alike as he forges ahead with his unique sound and heartfelt storytelling.
