The State government has officially announced a revised order regarding the participation of Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and key Ministers Nara Lokesh (IT & HRD) and T.G. Bharath (Industries & Commerce) at the upcoming World Economic Forum 2025, slated for January 20 to 24 in Davos, Switzerland.
Accompanying the Chief Minister and Ministers will be a delegation including Kartikeya Mishra, Secretary to the Chief Minister; Peeyush Kumar, Principal Secretary (Finance); N. Yuvaraj, Secretary (Industries & Food Processing); C.M. Saikanth Varma, CEO of the A.P. Economic Development Board (AP-EDB); and Vikas Marmat, Project Director of Kuppam Area Development Authority, along with the Chief Minister’s Chief Security Officer, B. Srinath.
The CEO of the EDB has been assigned to ensure compliance with the Ministry of External Affairs’ political clearance requirements.
During the forum, Mr. Naidu and his team will highlight the investment opportunities in Andhra Pradesh, showcasing the government’s initiatives aimed at fostering a business-friendly environment and enhancing the ‘Speed of Doing Business’.
The EDB has been instructed to utilize space allocated by Invest India at the WEF venue to set up a stall that will display investment prospects and the A.P. Government’s industrial policy initiatives, emphasizing ongoing developments in the state.
