ECNETNews reports that Anthony Joshua and Daniel Dubois have officially sold out Wembley Stadium for their highly anticipated IBF heavyweight world title fight on September 21. This exciting match is set to take place in front of a full house and will feature a robust undercard alongside a special performance by Liam Gallagher.
Turki Alalshikh, Chairman of the General Entertainment Authority, confirmed that all general admission tickets have been sold, with only a limited number of platinum and hospitality tickets still available.
Joshua, a Wembley veteran, previously enjoyed monumental victories at the venue, including his landmark match against Wladimir Klitschko and his win over Alexander Povetkin. However, this will be his first appearance there as a world title challenger.
Daniel Dubois, elevated to champion status after Oleksandr Usyk vacated the IBF title, views this bout as a pivotal opportunity to clinch a major world title against one of British sports’ biggest icons. Dubois stated, “I’m just aiming to be the best. To fight the best and beat the best. AJ has been the king for a long time, and on the night I need to become a king-slayer.”
Joshua acknowledged the significance of the fight, expressing, “I’ve had Dubois on my mind for a while. The goal is just to get through a successful training camp and then perform on the night.”
