British electronic musician and producer Mark Pritchard is collaborating with Thom Yorke, the frontman of Radiohead and The Smile, on an exciting new album titled Tall Tales. Set to be released on May 9, this debut LP showcases their artistic synergy. Fans can now enjoy the newly released single, “This Conversation Is Missing Your Voice,” accompanied by a captivating black-and-white music video directed by Jonathan Zawada.
This latest track is the second single from Tall Tales, following the release of “Back in the Game,” which made its live debut at the Sydney Opera House, delighting audiences during Pritchard’s headlining performance.
Notably, Zawada is described as an unofficial “third member” of the collaboration, with his music videos for both singles contributing to a feature-length film he has been developing alongside the music.
Pritchard and Yorke’s creative partnership dates back several years, notably collaborating on the track “Beautiful People” from Pritchard’s 2016 album, Under the Sun. Pritchard previously released his last solo album, The Four Worlds, in 2018, while The Smile dropped two records, Wall of Eyes and Cutouts, in the previous year.
