MARYLAND, USA – Adventist HealthCare has once again been recognized as an outstanding workplace, securing a prestigious position on the Top Workplaces 2024 list in the Washington, DC, region. In addition, the hospital system achieved a national accolade as one of the Top Workplaces for Healthcare 2024.
The selection process involved a survey sent to over 8,800 employers in the Washington, DC, area. Out of these, only 250 organizations earned a spot in the rankings, showcasing excellence across various sectors, including nonprofits and government agencies. Adventist HealthCare uniquely stood out as the sole hospital system featured on the list, and one of just 23 entities with a workforce exceeding 1,000 employees.
Nationally, Adventist HealthCare received recognition among the Top Workplaces for Healthcare 2024, based on employee feedback that highlighted the organization’s commitment to an inclusive and supportive culture, strong teamwork, opportunities for development, effective communication, and other positive attributes. Remarkably, fewer than 3 percent of eligible organizations achieved this designation, making Adventist HealthCare the only hospital system from the DC region to do so. The organization was also included in both regional and national listings in 2023.
