Last night, A$AP Rocky made a striking return to the stage as he headlined Rolling Loud California 2025, his first performance since his recent acquittal on two firearm assault charges. The rapper took the audience by surprise, arriving at Inglewood’s Hollywood Park Grounds via a black helicopter featuring the initials of his highly-anticipated upcoming album, Don’t Be Dumb. While safely harnessed inside, Rocky thrilled fans with his new track “All Black (Stole Ya Flow)” and treated them to an exclusive unreleased song. In a dramatic entrance, he performed “A$AP Forever” before rappelling down to the stage.
After a seven-year hiatus since his last studio album, Testing, Rocky used the festival platform to showcase several recent singles, including “Tailor Swif” and “Highjack.” He also debuted tracks like “Stop Snitching” and the Metro Boomin collaboration, “Your Honor.” Toward the conclusion of his set, he surprised fans by bringing out Skepta for a performance of “Praise the Lord (Da Shine).”
A$AP Rocky was exonerated on February 18 after being found not guilty of shooting former friend Terell “A$AP Relli” Ephron in 2021. He had notably turned down a plea deal that could have included six months in prison, instead opting for a not guilty plea in 2022. Rocky’s legal team argued that law enforcement did not find any supporting evidence at the scene. After the verdict, Rocky expressed his gratitude, stating, “Thank y’all for saving my life. Thank y’all for making the right decision."
Stay tuned for updates about Don’t Be Dumb, which has been highlighted in the upcoming features on anticipated albums for 2025.
