The Servicio de Administración Tributaria (SAT) has announced the opening of five new service offices starting August 1, 2024. This expansion aims to enhance service coverage for taxpayers.
As part of the Master Plan 2024, the SAT is focused on strengthening its service capacity and ensuring that vital services are more accessible. The new Tax Service Modules will be located in:
- Tamaulipas: MST Miguel Alemán
- Baja California: MST San Quintín
- Campeche: MST Xpujil
- Nuevo León: MST Emprendemos Monterrey and MST Santa Catarina
These new modules are expected to assist approximately 10,000 additional people each month. Services will include registration for the Federal Taxpayer Registry (RFC), issuance of electronic signatures for individuals, renewal and revocation of electronic signatures, and delivery of the Tax Situation Certificate, among other tax-related procedures.
The establishment of these offices aligns with the SAT’s goal of enhancing taxpayer services and meeting high demand in communities currently lacking nearby offices.
