Flying Lotus has unveiled the exciting first teaser trailer for his upcoming film, Ash. The film stars Eiza González and Aaron Paul, centering around a harrowing journey of psychological and physical terror after a woman wakes on a distant planet to discover her crew has been killed. Ash promises a unique viewing experience, featuring an original score composed by Flying Lotus, filled with captivating psychedelic horror imagery.
Production on Ash was first announced in 2022, with initial leads Tessa Thompson and Joseph Gordon-Levitt later replaced by González and Paul. This cinematic project marks Flying Lotus’s return to filmmaking following his 2017 body-horror debut, Kuso. Written by Jonni Remmler, Ash is set to be released on a popular streaming service in 2025 after its theatrical run.
