Bon Iver: SABLE, EP
In a creative endeavor, Justin Vernon and his team recorded the four-track SABLE, EP at his April Base studio in Wisconsin. Ahead of the release, Vernon unveiled the single “S P E Y S I D E,” along with an atmospheric black-and-white video featuring Vernon himself. Produced collaboratively with Jim-E Stack, who co-wrote “S P E Y S I D E,” the EP also showcases contributions from Ryan Olson, BJ Burton, and string arrangements by Rob Moose. The title SABLE reflects themes of “near-blackness,” as explained in promotional materials.
