The President of Mongolia, Ukhnaa Khurelsukh, is set to embark on a state visit to Turkmenistan from October 10-13, 2024, following an invitation from Turkmenistan’s President Serdar Berdimuhamedov.
This marks the first high-level visit since the two nations established diplomatic relations in 1992.
During the visit, President Khurelsukh will engage in official discussions with President Berdimuhamedov and will also meet the National Leader of the Turkmen People, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov. The talks aim to foster and enhance the friendly relations and cooperation between Mongolia and Turkmenistan, addressing a variety of bilateral and multilateral issues.
As part of the visit, President Khurelsukh will honor the legacy of Turkmen culture by attending an international forum celebrating the 300th anniversary of the renowned poet and thinker, Magtymguly Fragi.
