Fortnite Festival Enhances Gaming Experience, But Shopping for Songs Remains Challenging
The Fortnite Festival continues to captivate players, significantly enriching the Fortnite ecosystem. While the experience is enjoyable, many participants find the song shopping process to be cumbersome. Users face high costs for jam tracks, yet the real challenge lies in navigating the item shop.
Currently, players are unable to view song difficulty levels directly in the item shop or their locker. The only opportunity to assess a song’s difficulty is found within the song picker on the Festival stage, where only one song and instrument are displayed at a time. This limited visibility creates frustration as players struggle to grasp the full range of available songs.
Dedicated players often seek tracks with higher difficulty ratings, particularly those featuring five or more bars of difficulty on drums. However, the lack of a comprehensive overview forces players to sift through the song picker repeatedly, which only displays songs owned by participants in the current session.
In response to this frustration, a detailed spreadsheet has been developed, cataloging every Festival song by difficulty and instrument type, including Pro Lead and Pro Bass charts. This resource aids players in identifying songs that match their skill level without extensive searching.
The list is up-to-date as of July 25, 2024, featuring recent additions such as “The Boys Are Back in Town” by Thin Lizzy, “Unsainted” by Slipknot, “Would?” by Alice in Chains, “The Final Countdown” by Europe, “Holiday” by Green Day, and “Inferno Island (Molten Mix)” by Epic Games.
