With the recent resurgence of interest in Final Fantasy VII, spurred by the release of Final Fantasy VII Rebirth earlier this year, Square Enix is set to launch a wide array of official merchandise. Among the highlights are new collectible figures inspired by the iconic RPG, featuring both familiar characters and fan favorites from various spinoffs and remakes.
One of the standout offerings in this new lineup is Bring Arts’ set of figures crafted from Tetsuya Nomura’s original designs for the PS1 version of Final Fantasy VII. Following the announcement of figures for the main playable characters, the series will now also include popular villains like Sephiroth and beloved characters such as Zack Fair.
In addition, a new version of Cloud Strife featuring his Hardy-Daytona motorcycle will be available for preorder. This figure is set to be the largest in the collection. Fans who have already ordered the standard Cloud figure can also opt to preorder the motorcycle separately.
These three figures complement a previous series that includes all nine main party characters from the original game: Cloud, Tifa, Aerith, Barret, Red XIII, Cid, Cait Sith, Vincent, and Yuffie.
The entire lineup is available for preorder, with many items frequently selling out due to high demand. Figures are scheduled to arrive from late 2024 into 2025, starting with Aerith in August 2024, followed by Cloud and Tifa in October. Pricing for the figures ranges from $120 to $250, with select characters like Sephiroth, Barret, and Red XIII priced at $130, and the deluxe Cloud Strife and Hardy-Daytona set at $250.
