Alan Sparhawk has released a new single titled “Get Still” from his upcoming solo album, White Roses, My God. The accompanying video showcases the beloved Low frontman dancing in a picturesque field. The album is set to drop on September 27.
White Roses, My God serves as Sparhawk’s first solo project since his 2006 album Solo Guitar, following the recent passing of his wife and Low’s iconic drummer, Mimi Parker, in 2022. The album features co-production and engineering by Sparhawk and Nat Harvie, with mastering by Heba Kadry. Last month, he introduced another single, “Can U Hear,” which has garnered attention for its electronic sound.
In support of the album, Sparhawk will embark on a tour of the United Kingdom and Ireland this November, followed by a collaboration with Godspeed You! Black Emperor for select U.S. dates. He will also launch a headline tour in January, marking an exciting season for fans.
