The Naadam Festival is just six days away, and excitement is building as over 1,000 artists prepare to participate in the opening and closing ceremonies. This year’s lineup includes talented performers from Halimag, Tuva, and Inner Mongolia.
In a fresh twist, music that speaks to the heart will be transformed into a captivating musical. Unlike previous editions where professional ensembles produced their own acts, this year will feature a unified artistic vision.
The preparations for the festival are nearly complete, with 99 percent of choreography, field composition, and costumes finalized. Only stage setup remains ahead of the grand event.
Anticipation is high as an estimated 12,000 attendees are expected this year, with seating arrangements currently underway. Addressing past issues with sanitation facilities, organizers have committed to enhancing the main stadium’s amenities. This includes the construction of nine new toilets—six large and three small—along with upgrades to existing facilities. Additionally, 7,850 parking spaces are being established around the central stadium to accommodate the influx of visitors.
Tickets for the festival are priced between 80,000 to 150,000 MNT and will be available for online purchase starting July 1. Each ticket will feature a QR code providing information on the festival program and scheduled events, ensuring a seamless experience for all attendees.
