ECNETNews reports that a major investment of 250 million baht is being poured into the highly anticipated Siam Songkran Music Festival 2025, marking its fourth consecutive year.
Set over an expansive area of 23 rai, this year’s festival is poised to welcome 100,000 attendees, a significant increase from 70,000 last year.
The event aims to generate 300 million baht in revenue and is expected to contribute to a substantial 1 billion baht in tourism spending during the Songkran festivities.
Scheduled from April 11-14 at the Arena Area on Rama IX Road, Bangkok, the festival’s theme, “The Dawn,” promises a refreshing adventure into new Songkran experiences.
This year’s festival introduces an innovative lifestyle zone, collaborating with prominent Thai fashion brands to create a vibrant blend of music, fashion, and lifestyle elements.
“This year, we are delivering an extraordinary experience that combines electrifying music with contemporary Thai art and culture, exquisite Thai cuisine, and eco-friendly initiatives, crafting a remarkable Songkran celebration,” stated a representative from the organizing team.
Plans are underway to expand the festival’s offerings to include wellness and extreme sports, aiming to transform it into a hub for diverse lifestyles.
A unique merchandise collection is also set to launch, celebrating Thai soft power on an international scale while connecting traditional Songkran with modern lifestyle trends that resonate with today’s youth.
