Diiv Announces European Tour and New Remix
Diiv is set to embark on an exciting European tour this summer, kicking off on August 8 in Lokeren, Belgium. Alongside the tour announcement, the band has released a captivating new remix of their track “Everyone Out” from the song “Frog in Boiling Water,” reimagined by the UK electronic duo Mount Kimbie.
The acclaimed shoegaze band will perform in over a dozen cities across Europe, including stops in Switzerland, Spain, Portugal, Turkey, England, and the Netherlands, concluding the tour on September 8 in Lille, France. This tour offers a unique opportunity to experience Diiv’s latest album live as they visit often-overlooked cities.
Before heading overseas, Diiv will host three consecutive shows in May at Teragram Ballroom in Los Angeles, California. These performances are particularly poignant, taking place just months after frontman Zachary Cole Smith and his family narrowly escaped their home during devastating wildfires in January, which resulted in the loss of their house and belongings. In response to this hardship, a fundraising effort was launched to assist Smith in recovering from the loss.
Diiv is also recognized for their standout album Deceiver, which garnered praise as one of the best rock albums of 2019.
